Installs are to be done by a person with experience. While bundles can last 1-2 years with proper care, lace frontals and closures are more delicate and need to be  replaced, customized, styled, and maintained properly by persons experienced.

Bundles should be treated like your real hair, if not better. The wrong products, improper sleep habits, or lack of basic hair knowledge will damage your hair extensions making them unmanageable. To maintain the integrity of your hair extensions use heat moderately. High temperatures can damage the hair and will lessen the life span of your hair. Damaged hair will result in dryness, tangles, and eventually shedding. Use minimum styling products to be sure your extensions are not weighed down. Alcohol free styling products are best. Prevent the use of oils on hair.

Laces have to be treated delicately! Lace frontals or closures are not meant to last forever, with proper care you can reuse your lace up to 5 times. To prevent premature shedding, carefully bleach and pluck your lace or get the help of someone skilled to do so. Hair is attached to a lace with a simple knot, improper customization and/or roughness will cause premature shedding. Lace closures and frontals will shed over time.

INITIAL HAIR CARE

  • Always wash and condition your hair thoroughly before use. Be sure to do so in a downward motion, do not ball the hair up.
  • Detangling is best to do with a wide tooth comb using conditioner, working from bottom to top.
  • Leave conditioner on for 20+ minutes to deep condition the hair. Then, thoroughly rinse with cold water.
  • Air dry hair.

STRAIGHT + WAVY

  • Co-wash hair weekly with a moisture rich conditioner.
  • Only use shampoo if you notice your hair has buildup, or looks/feels heavy. Always follow up with conditioner (deep conditioning is even better), rinse with cold water.
  • Add styling products (alcohol, sulfate, and oil free) while hair is still damp then style it and leave it to air dry completely. Frequently touching, or brushing hair while it is drying will cause frizz.
  • Air dry and style how you desire.
  • When styling be sure to use a wide tooth comb or paddle brush on dry hair, starting from the ends and working up.
  • Do not apply heat to wet, damp, or oily hair.
  • Do not comb the length of hair with a small tooth comb.
  • Avoid oil products in your hair extensions.
  • Salt and chlorine water dry hair extensions out and can alter the texture, as well as bleaching or lifting hair color.

STRAIGHT + WAVY BEDTIME CARE

  • Be sure to use your fingers, a wide tooth comb or paddle brush on dry hair, starting from the ends and working up to detangle hair before bed and in the morning.
  • Protect your lace and edges with a satin or silk scarf.
  • A big braid, twist, pin curls, buns, or flexi rods are great protective ways to maintain styles while sleeping.
  • Protect your hair with a satin/silk bonnet or pillowcase. If removing a wig be sure to place it on a dome, or styrofoam head.
  • Never go to bed with wet hair.
  • Never go to bed without properly protecting hair.

CURLY + LOOSE

  • Co-wash hair 2-3x weekly with a moisture rich conditioner.
  • Only use shampoo if you notice your hair has buildup, or looks/feels heavy. Always follow up with conditioner (deep conditioning is even better), rinse with cold water.
  • Add styling products (alcohol, sulfate, and oil free) while hair is still damp. Use a styling foam and denman brush to define curly textures.
  • Once styled leave it to air dry completely. Frequently touching, or brushing hair while it is drying will cause frizz.
  • Do not apply heat to wet, damp, or oily hair.
  • Do not comb or brush curly or loose wave texture hair when dry.
  • Avoid oil products in your hair extensions.
  • Salt and chlorine water dry hair extensions out and can alter the texture, as well as bleaching or lifting hair color.
